How to study

1. Read a grammar chapter, then compare the French and Urdu examples.
2. Press a play button to hear French. Course recordings are available when your device does not offer a French voice.
3. Use flashcards for recall and rate honestly. Cards return on an SM-2 schedule.
4. Compare your practice answers with the reference. Different natural translations may also be correct.
5. Mark chapters complete. Export browser progress or sign in and sync when the services are configured.

About the material

The original source includes empty translations and supplementary pronunciation guidance. We preserve those gaps, identify unreviewed content and do not assign verified CEFR levels. French does not mirror twelve English tense/aspect cells.

Speech and accessibility

Playback starts when you press a button. Choose a French device voice or a course recording in the pronunciation studio. Custom text and arbitrary selections need an available French device voice when there is no matching course recording. We do not provide microphone pronunciation scoring. Use A− and A+ in the toolbar to adjust reading size.
